هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف إلى درجة الكفاءة الذاتية لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية الفلسطينية وممارستهم للقيادة التحويلية، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، تكّون مجتمع الدراسة من (722) معلماً ومعلمة من المدارس الحكومية التابعة لمديرية ضواحي القدس، وتم اختيار عيّنة الدراسة من (243) معلماً ومعلمة، بواقع (89) معلماً و(154) معلمة، إذ تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية، تم تصميم أداتي الدراسة بحيث تكونت اداة الكفاءة الذاتية من ثلاثة أبعاد هي (الكفاءة الإدارية، القيادة الأخلاقية، القيادة التحويلية)، وتكونت الأداة الثانية المتعلقة بالقيادة التحويلية من أربعة أبعاد هي (الدافعية الالهامية، الاعتبارية الفردية، الاستثارة الفكرية، الجاذبية والتأثير)، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى ان درجة الكفاءة الذاتية لدى مديري مدارس ضواحي القدس الثانوية جاءت مرتفعة، وجاءت نتائج مقياس القيادة التحويلية بدرجة مرتفعة. توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة إرتباطية إيجابية دالة إحصائياً بين أبعاد الكفاءة الذاتية وأبعاد القيادة التحويلية. The study aimed to identify the level of self-efficacy among Palestinian secondary school principals and their practice of transformational leadership. A descriptive survey methodology was used. The study population consisted of (722) male and female teachers from public schools affiliated with the Jerusalem Suburbs Directorate. The study sample was consisted of (243) male and female teachers. (89) Male and (154) female teachers who were chosen randomly. The two study tools were designed. The self-efficacy tool consisted of three main dimensions: (administrative competence, ethical leadership, and transformational leadership). The second tool related to transformational leadership consisted of four dimensions (Inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, attractiveness and influence). The results of the study concluded that the level of self-efficacy among principals of secondary schools in the suburbs of Jerusalem was high. While the result of administrative efficiency was at medium level, and the results of the transformational leadership scale were at a high level. The study found a significant correlation (α ≤ 0.05) between self-efficacy and transformational leadership. (Published abstract)
