تهدف الدراسة للتعرف إلى تصورات القيادات الأكاديمية حول ممارسات المواءمة المثلى بين مخرجات التعليم العالي وسوق العمل في الجامعات السعودية، وبناء نموذج مقترح لها في ضوء هذه التصورات. وقد إستخدمت الباحثة منهج الاستفسار التقديري القائم على المقابلات لغايات تحقيق هدف الدراسة، حيث تم إجراء مقابلات فردية مع 12 من القيادات الأكاديمية بجامعة الملك سعود وجامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبدالرحمن وجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة في ضوء تحليل تصورات القادة المشاركين نوعيا إلى بناء نموذج مقترح لهذه الممارسات المثلى والذي يتمثل ببنية هدفية للمواءمة قائمة على بعدي الوظائف الشاغرة في سوق العمل ومهارات الخريجين، ويتطلب خمسا من المجالات الداعمة وهي: المناهج الدراسية وسياسة القبول واستراتيجيات التدريس الحديثة، بالإضافة إلى الأنشطة المنهجية واللامنهجية الداعمة. كما يتطلب ذلك القيام بثلاث أنشطة رئيسة تتمثل في جمع وتحليل البيانات والمعلومات المتعلقة بالمواءمة، وترجمتها إلى خطط تنفيذية بالإضافة إلى بناء جسور التواصل المجتمعي وتعزيز الشراكات مع القطاع الخاص. كما كشفت النتائج عن مجموعة من المقاييس اللازمة للتحقق من إنجاز هدفي المواءمة تمثلت بـمستويات المطابقة بين عدد الخريجين وعدد الوظائف، والمطابقة بين جودة البرامج وأهميتها في سوق العمل، وأخيرا مستويات رضا الخريجين وأصحاب العمل. وفي ضوء ذلك أوصت الدراسة بضرورة قيام الجامعات بتبني هذا النموذج لتحقيق مواءمة حقيقية بين مخرجات التعليم العالي وسوق العمل. The study aims to identify the perceptions of academic leaders about the optimal alignment practices between higher education outcomes and the labor market in Saudi universities, and to build a proposed model based on these perceptions. The researcher utilized the appreciative inquiry method, conducting individual interviews with 12 academic leaders from King Saud University, Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, and Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. Through qualitative analysis of the leaders' perceptions, the study's results led to the construction of a proposed model for optimal alignment practices between higher education outcomes and the labor market in Saudi universities. This model is based on two dimensions: job vacancies in the labor market and the skills of graduates, and it requires five supportive areas: curricula, admission policies, modern teaching strategies, methodological activities, and supportive extracurriculars. Furthermore, it involves three main activities: collecting and analyzing data and information related to alignment, translating them into implementation plans, and establishing community communication and partnerships with the private sector. The results also revealed several measures necessary to verify the achievement of the alignment practices' objectives. These measures include assessing the match between the number of graduates and job vacancies, evaluating the alignment of program quality with labor market demand, and measuring the satisfaction levels of graduates and employers. Based on these findings, the study recommends that universities adopt this model to achieve genuine alignment between higher education outcomes and the labor market. (Published abstract)
