يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد قيم المواطنة الواجب توفرها في محتوى كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية في الصف السادس الابتدائي، وتحديد مدى توفرها في هذا الكتاب، واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي، وتمثلت أدواته في قائمة بقيم المواطنة تكونت من (36) قيمة فرعية وفق أربعة مجالات رئيسة، هي: المجال الاجتماعي، المجال السياسي، المجال الثقافي، والمجال الاقتصادي، وطُبِّقت على كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية للصف السادس الإبتدائي، وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة مراعاة كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية للصف السادس الإبتدائي لقيم المواطنة بوجه عام ضعيفة جدا. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة التي توصل اليها، أوصى البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات، أبرزها إعادة النظر في تأليف كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية في الصف السادس الابتدائي، والعمل على تضمين القيم التي تساعد في تنمية المواطنة التي وردت بنسبة ضعيفة جدا ضمن تحليل المحتوى، وأهمية إعادة تصميم كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية للصف السادس الابتدائي بحيث يراعي دمج قيم المواطنة في كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية للصف السادس الابتدائي. The aim of this study was to evaluate the content of the English language textbook designed for sixth elementary grade school students in light of citizenship values. The research sample comprised the English language student's textbook used in the sixth elementary grade school during the academic year 1444AH. The researcher used a self-constructed analytical tool based on the framework of citizenship values. This instrument encompassed four primary domains, namely social, political, cultural, and economic values. The results revealed that the English language book's degree of observance of the values of citizenship in general is very low. Based on the study's findings, the research advised a set of recommendations, including the re-examination of the English language rapporteur in the sixth elementary grade and the inclusion of relatively few values that aid in the formation of citizenship in the content analysis, as well as the importance of redesigning the English-language curriculum for the sixth elementary grade to include the integration of citizenship values.
