هدف البحث إلى التحقق من فعالية برنامج تدريبي لتوعية معلمات اللغة العربية بمهارات التفكير الناقد وبالممارسات التدريسية المرتبطة به، ومعرفة اتجاهاتهن نحو المادة التدريبية للبرنامج، وإستخدم البحث المنهج شبه التجريبي (بتصميم القياس القبلي والبعدي لمجموعة واحدة). ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم بناء برنامج تدريبي، صمم له اختبار قبلي وبعدي ومقياس للكشف عن اتجاهات العينة نحو المادة التدريبة للبرنامج. وتم التطبيق على عينة بلغ عددها (84) معلمة للغة العربية في منطقة الرياض قسموا إلى أربع مجموعات في كل أسبوع تم تدريب مجموعة واحدة، وكشفت النتائج عن وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية لصالح التطبيق البعدي في رفع مستوى المعرفة بمهارات التفكير الناقد وبالممارسات التدريسية له لدى معلمات اللغة العربية، وأسفرت أيضا عن اتجاه إيجابي نحو المادة التدريبية للبرنامج. وأوصى البحث بأن تعقد الجهات المعنية بتدريب المعلمات أثناء الخدمة سلسلة من الدورات التدريبية الهادفة إلى تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى المعلمات، وتعريفهم بالممارسات التدريسية المناسبة لها، وتضمين برامج إعداد المعلمات مقررات لتنمية مهارات التفكير بشكل عام، والناقد بشكل خاص. واقترح البحث إجراء بحوث علمية الرامية إلى قياس مستوى معرفة معلّمات اللغة العربية بمهارات التفكير الأخرى وبالممارسات التدريسية المرتبطة بها. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program in raising awareness among Arabic language teachers about critical thinking skills and their associated teaching practices. The quasi-experimental design was employed, incorporating both pre-test and post-test measurements for a single group. To achieve the research objectives, a training program was created that included pre-and post-tests as well as a scale to gauge the sample's attitudes. The program was implemented on a sample of 84 Arabic language teachers in the Riyadh region, with a weekly training session. The results revealed statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test application in enhancing the knowledge of critical thinking concepts and teaching practices among Arabic language teachers. The findings also indicated positive attitudes toward the training program. The study recommended that relevant education institutions responsible for in-service teachers should conduct a series of targeted training courses to develop thinking skills among teachers, introducing them to appropriate teaching practices. Teacher preparation programs were recommended to include courses for the general development of thinking skills. The researcher proposed further scientific research to measure the level of Arabic language teachers' knowledge of other thinking skills and the teaching practices associated with them.
