هدّفت هذه الدّراسة إلى تحديد دور الوعيّ الذّاتي في التّنبؤ بالتركيز التنظيمي العقلية الإقداميّة مقابل العقليّة الوقائيّة لدى طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية، باعتماد المنهج الوّصفي التّحليلي، وتطبيق مقياس التركيز التنظيمي (العقليّة الإقدامية-الوقائيّة)، واستبانة الوعيّ الذّاتي على عينة من (155) طالباً وطالبة من المرحلة الثّانوية. وتوصلت النّتائج إلى أنّ نمط العقليّة السائد لدى طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية هو العقليّة الإقداميّة، كما أنَّ مُستوى الوَعي الذّاتي مرتفعٌ لديهم، كما تبين أنّ الوعيّ الذّاتي بأبعاده (التّطور الذّاتي، والقبول، والاستباقية) يتنبأ بنمط العقليّة الإقداميّة، في حين تتنبأ عواقب العاطفة والتّطور الذاتيّ بالعقليّة الوقائيّة، وكلّما زاد التّطور الذّاتي لدى الطلبة زادت العقليّة الإقداميّة، وانخفضت العقليّة الوقائيّة. كما تَبينَ وجودُ فروق بينَ الذّكور والإِناثِ في العقليّة الوقائيّة لصالحِ الإناث، كما لمْ تَظهر الفروق باختلاف الصف الدراسي. This study aimed to determine the predictive ability of the self-awareness to Regulatory Focus (the Mindset progressive - preventive) among high school students, Adopting the descriptive analytical methodology, by applying the scale of organizational focus (advocacy-preventive mindset) and Self-Awareness Outcomes Questionnaire on a sample of (155) high school students. The results concluded that the pattern of mentality prevailing among high school students is the progressive mentality, they also have a high level of self-awareness, It was also found that self-awareness with its dimensions (self-development, acceptance, and proactivity) predicts a pattern of progressive mentality, Whereas the consequences of emotion and self-development predict a protective mindset, and that the greater the students’ self-development, the greater the progressive mentality, and the lower the protective mentality, It was also found that there were differences between males and females in the protective mentality in favor of females, while the differences did not appear according to the different grades.
