هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقصّي أثر استخدام الآلة الحاسبة CASIO fx-991EX في التحصيل الرياضي لدى طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي، واختيرت عينة قصدية مكونة من (30) طالباً من طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في البرنامج الأمريكي AHSD موزعين في شعبتين، وتم استخدام التعيين العشوائي (القرعة) لتوزيعهما إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية وعدد أفرادها (16) طالباً، وضابطة وعدد أفرادها (14) طالباً. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم إعداد اختبار موضوعي لقياس التحصيل الرياضي في وحدة الجبر، وتم التحقق من صدقه وثباته. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α=0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعتين، ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وتوصي الدراسة بأهمية استخدام الآلة الحاسبة CASIO fx-991EX في تدريس الرياضيات وتوفير البيئة والمواد التعليمية المناسبة لتوظيفها. The study aimed to investigate the effect of using the calculator CASIO fx-991EX on mathematical achievement among the tenth-grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted (30) students from grade (10), selected from private international schools that follow the American system AHSD. The quasi-experimental design based on experimental and control groups was used in this study, an experimental group of (16) students, who studied using CASIO fx-991EX, and control group of (14) students, who studied using traditional studying method. To achieve the aim of the study, a mathematical achievement test was used for data collection; the validity and reliability of the test were measured and found acceptable for the study purpose. The results showed that there was a significant difference in mathematical achievement among the tenth-grade students in Jordan, in favor of the experimental group who studied using the calculator CASIO fx-991EX. Based on the result, the researcher recommended the adoption of the results of this study as a response for the effect of using calculators on developing mathematical achievement among students.
