هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف درجة التفاؤل الأكاديمي لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في محافظة العاصمة عمان وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (291) معلماً ومعلمة واستخدمت الاستبانة أداة للدراسة بعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنّ درجة التفاؤل الأكاديمي لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في محافظة عمان كانت متوسطة. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة التفاؤل الأكاديمي في المدارس الثانوية الحكومية في محافظة عمان تُعزى لمتغيرات الجنس أو المؤهل العلمي أو الخبرة. This study aimed at finding out the degree of academic optimism among public secondary school teachers in the Capital Amman governorate and its relationship to some variables. The sample of the study consisted of (291) male and female teachers. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The results of the study showed that the degree of academic optimism for teachers was medium. Furthermore, the results indicated that there were no significant differences at (α=0.05) in the degree of academic optimism for teachers in public secondary schools in Amman Governorate, attributed to sex, academic qualification, and experience variables.
