هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن المقدرة التنبؤية لأساليب التفكير وسمات الشخصية الكبرى بالذكاء الانفعالي لدى طلبة كلية سخنين بفرعيها تأهيل المعلمين والهندسة. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (549) طالبًا وطالبةً، تم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة المتيسرة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام مقياس أساليب التفكير لستيرنبرج وواجنر (Sternberg & Wagner, 1992) النسخة القصيرة، ومقياس للذكاء الانفعالي لوانج ولو (Wong & Law, 2002)، ومقياس السمات الخمس الكبرى للشخصية لجون سريفاستافا (John & Srivastava, 1999) الذي ترجمته وكيفته للبيئة الأردنية العزام (Al-Azzam, 2017). كشفت النتائج أن الأنموذج التنبؤي العاشر للمتغيرات المستقلة (سمة الانبساطية، سمة الانفتاح على الخبرة، التفكير الخارجي، التفكير الهرمي، سمة العصابية، سمة المقبولية، التفكير المحلي، أسلوب التفكير المحافظ، أسلوب التفكير الملكي، أسلوب التفكير الفوضوي)، بالمتغير المتنبأ به (الذكاء الانفعالي)، وقد كان دالًا إحصائيًا بأثر مشترك للمتغيرات المستقلة مفسّرًا ما مقداره (%31.80). The study aimed to reveal the predictive ability of thinking styles and major personality traits on emotional intelligence among students at Sakhnin College, in its two branches, Qualification of Teachers and Engineering. The study sample consisted of (549) students, who were selected using the available sample method. The Thinking Styles Scale (Sternberg & Wagner, 1992), the Emotional Intelligence Scale (Wong & Law, 2002), and the Big Five Traits Scale (John & Srivastava, 1999), which was translated by Al-Azzam (2017) were used. The results revealed that the tenth predictive model for the independent variables (extraversion, openness to experience, extrinsic thinking style, hierarchical style, neuroticism trait, acceptability trait, local style, conservative style, proprietary style, chaotic style), with the active (predictive) variable, with a joint effect of the independent variables, explaining its amount (31.80%).
