هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة الحكمة الإدارية لدى مديري المدارس الحكومية الثانوية في المحافظات الشمالية من فلسطين من وجهة نظر المديرين والمعلمين فيها، إضافة إلى الكشف عما إذا كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تقديرات أفراد العينة، تعزى إلى متغيري الجنس، والوظيفة الحالية، والتفاعل بينهما. اتبع الباحثون المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم بناء مقياس الحكمة الإدارية باستخدام التحليل العاملي الاستكشافي، وتم استخراج معامل الثبات، وطبق المقياس على عينة المديرين والبالغة (189) مديرا ومديرة، وعلى عينة المعلمين (1992) معلما ومعلمة. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة الحكمة الإدارية لدى مديري المدارس الحكومية الثانوية في فلسطين من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس والمعلمين، كانت كبيرة، في جميع المجالات والدرجة الكلية، وأظهرت النتائج أن هناك فروقا ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0.05) في الدرجة الكلية للحكمة الإدارية تعزى إلى متغير الوظيفة ولصالح مديري المدارس، في حين لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائية تبعا إلى متغير الجنس، ويوجد تفاعل بين متغيري الوظيفة والجنس ولصالح (مدير - أنثى) يليه (مدير - ذكر) يليه (معلم - ذكر) يليه (معلم - انثى). توصي الدراسة بضرورة اهتمام وزارة التربية والتعليم بإعداد وتدريب مديري المدارس في ضوء الحكمة الإدارية، نظرا لكثرة المواقف الإدارية التي تتطلب الحكمة في التصرف. This study aimed to assess the level of administrative wisdom among principals of public secondary schools in the northern governorates of Palestine, as perceived by both principals and teachers. Additionally, the research aimed to identify potential differences in ratings among sample members based on gender, current job position, and the interaction between these variables. The researchers employed a descriptive approach and utilized a questionnaire on administrative wisdom, administered to a sample of (189) principals and (1992) teachers. The study's findings revealed a high degree of administrative wisdom among principals of public secondary schools in the northern governorates of Palestine, as rated by both principals and teachers across all domains and total scores. Furthermore, there was a significant difference (α≤0.05) in the total score of administrative wisdom between principals and teachers, favoring principals. However, no significant differences were observed based on gender. Nevertheless, an interaction effect was identified between job position and gender, favoring "principal-female" respondents, followed by "principal male," "teacher-male", and "teacher-female". Based on the study's results, it is recommended that the Ministry of Education prioritize the preparation and training of school administrators in alignment with the concept of administrative wisdom. The significance of this lies in the multitude of administrative situations that require wise decision-making from school principals. (Published abstract)
