إستهدف البحث بناء اختبار الذكاء اللفظي لتلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية في مدينة الموصل وتألفت عينة البحث الاساسية من(500) تلميذ اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية من مدارس المرحلة الابتدائية في مدينة الموصل للعام الدراسي (2022/2023) موزعين على (10) مدارس، تم بناء اختبار الذكاء اللفظي على وفق نظرية ستيرنبيرغ، ومن ثم تم التحقق من صدق الاختبار باعتماد (الصدق الظاهري, صدق البناء) اما الثبات فتم حسابه بطريقة (إعادة الاختبار والفاكرونباخ) وبعد تطبيق اختبار الذكاء اللفظي على التلاميذ بطريقة فردية عولجت البيانات احصائيا باستخدام برنامج الحقيبة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS)، وبلغ الاختبار بصيغته النهائية (20) فقرة. The research aimed to construct a verbal intelligence test for primary school students in the city of Mosul, and the basic research sample consisted of (500) students who were chosen in a stratified random way from primary schools in Mosul for the academic year (2022/2023) distributed among (10) schools. Building the verbal intelligence test according to Sternberg's theory, and then the validity of the test was verified by adopting (apparent validity, constructive validity). As for the stability, it was calculated using the (retest and Alfa Cronbach) method. After applying the verbal intelligence test to the students in an individual manner, the data were treated statistically using the statistical bag program for Social Sciences (SPSS), and the final version of the test was (20) items.
