هدف البحث التعرف على مستوى الخيال الاخلاقي لدى طلبة جامعة الموصل والتعرف على دلالة الفروق في الخيال الاخلاقي بين أفراد عينة البحث تبعا للمـــتغيرات الجنس، التخصص، الصف. إذ تألفت عينة البحث الأساسية من (1020) طالبا وطالبة أختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية من كليات جامعة الموصل للعام الدراسي (2024/2025) موزعين على (10) كلية منها (5) كليات ذات التخصص العلمي و(5) كليات ذات التخصص الانساني ولتحقيق اهداف البحث طبق الطالب الباحثان الأداة التي قاما ببنائها: اختبار الخيال الأخلاقي وتم التحقق من صدق المقياس باعتماد ( الصدق الظاهري، صدق البناء، الصدق الذاتي )، أما الثبات فتم حسابه بطريقة (إعادة الاختبار) وبعد تطبيق الاداة عولجت البيانات احصائيا بإستخدام برنامج الحقيبة الاحصائية للعلوم الإجتماعية (SPSS) وأظهرت النتائج ما يأتي: إن مستوى الخيال الأخلاقي لدى طلبة جامعة الموصل أعلى من مستوى المتوسط اللإفتراضي. عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائيا في الخيال الاخلاقي بين افراد عينة البحث وفقا لمتغير الجنس (ذكور/ اناث) ومتغير التخصص (علمي/انساني) ووجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في الخيال الاخلاقي تبعا لمتغير الصف الدراسي (الثاني/الرابع) ولصالح الصف الرابع وفي ضوء نتائج البحث خرج الباحثان ببعض التوصيات والمقترحات: منها ضرورة قيام الجامعات تصميم مقررات تدريبية تعتمد على التفكير النقدي والتأمل الأخلاقي لمساعدة الطلبة على تطوير خيالهم الأخلاقي. و تنفيذ برامج تدريبية حول التحكم في المشاعر، إدارة الضغوط، واستراتيجيات إعادة التقييم المعرفي، مما قد يعزز قدرة الطلبة على التنظيم العاطفي. واقترح الطالب الباحث اجراء دراسة الخيال الاخلاقي وعلاقته بالتنظيم العاطفي على عينات اخرى مثل (طلبة الاعدادية، طلبة المتوسط). واجراء دراسة الخيال الأخلاقي وعلاقته بمتغيرات اخرى مثل (التعاطف، المرونة النفسية). The research aims to identify the level of moral imagination among students of the University of Mosul and to determine the significance of differences in moral imagination among the research sample based on the variables of (gender, specialization, academic year).The basic research sample consisted of (1020) male and female students who were selected using a stratified random sampling method from the colleges of the University of Mosul for the academic year (2024/2025), distributed across (10) colleges, including (5) colleges with scientific specializations and (5) colleges with humanities specializations. To achieve the research objectives, the student researchers applied the instrument they developed: the Moral Imagination Test. The validity of the scale was verified by (face validity, construct validity, self-validity), while reliability was calculated using the (test-retest) method. After applying the instrument, the data were statistically processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program, and the results showed the following: The level of moral imagination among students of the University of Mosul is higher than the hypothetical average level. There are no statistically significant differences in moral imagination among the research sample according to the gender variable (male/female) and the specialization variable (scientific/humanistic).There are statistically significant differences in moral imagination according to the academic year variable (second/fourth), in favor of the fourth year. In light of the research results, the researchers made some recommendations and suggestions, including the necessity for universities to design training courses based on critical thinking and moral reflection to help students develop their moral imagination. Additionally, implementing training programs on emotion regulation, stress management, and cognitive reappraisal strategies, which may enhance students' ability to regulate their emotions. The student researchers suggested conducting a study on moral imagination and its relationship to emotional regulation on other samples such as (preparatory school students, intermediate school students).
