هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى إستقصاء دور برامج التربية المهنية في تنمية المهارات الزراعية لدى طلبة مرحلة البكالوريوس في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية، كلية الحصن، وذلك في ضوء متطلبات تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة. وقد تم تبني المنهج الوصفي التحليلي بإعتباره الأنسب لطبيعة أهداف الدراسة، حيث يسهم هذا المنهج في توصيف الظاهرة قيد البحث وتحليل أبعادها وعلاقاتها. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (300) طالب وطالبة من طلبة كلية الحصن الجامعية، تم إختيارهم بإستخدام أسلوب العينة المتيسرة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، قام الباحث بتطوير أداة إستبانة مكوّنة من (30) فقرة موزعة على ستة محاور رئيسية، وهي: تنمية المعرفة الزراعية النظرية، تنمية المهارات الزراعية العملية، إستخدام التقنيات الزراعية الحديثة، تعزيز الابتكار وريادة الأعمال الزراعية، رفع مستوى الوعي بأهداف التنمية المستدامة، التحديات والمعوقات المرتبطة بالتربية الزراعية المهنية. تم توزيع الاستبانة إلكترونيا على أفراد العينة، وتم تحليل البيانات بإستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة. وقد كشفت نتائج الدراسة أن دور التربية المهنية في تنمية المهارات الزراعية جاء بدرجة متوسطة. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لبعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية، حيث كانت الفروق لصالح الذكور فيما يتعلق بمتغير الجنس، ولصالح طلبة السنة الرابعة فيما يتعلق بمتغير السنة الدراسية، ولصالح الطلبة من المسار المهني فيما يخص متغير نوع الثانوية العامة. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات العملية، من أبرزها: إدماج تطبيقات الزراعة الذكية والتقنيات الزراعية الابتكارية بشكل منهجي ضمن الخطط الدراسية لبرامج التربية المهنية. تحفيز الطلبة على إجراء مشاريع بحثية تطبيقية تعالج تحديات الزراعة المستدامة، وتدعم التوجه نحو تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، ولا سيما في مجالات الأمن الغذائي وكفاءة استخدام الموارد. This study aimed to investigate the role of vocational education programs in developing agricultural skills among undergraduate students at Al-Balqa Applied University -Al-Huson University College, in light of the requirements for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach, as it is the most appropriate for the nature of the study's objectives, allowing for systematic description and analysis of the phenomena under investigation and the relationships between its dimensions. The study sample consisted of 300 male and female students from Al-Huson University College, selected using a convenience sampling method. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher developed a questionnaire composed of 30 items distributed across six main domains: Development of theoretical agricultural knowledge Development of practical agricultural skills utilization of modern agricultural technologies promotion of innovation and agricultural entrepreneurship raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals Challenges and obstacles associated with vocational agricultural education. The questionnaire was distributed electronically to the study sample, and the collected data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods. The findings revealed that the role of vocational education in developing agricultural skills was rated at a moderate level. Moreover, statistically significant differences were found based on certain demographic variables: in favor of male students with respect to gender, in favor of fourth-year students regarding academic year, and in favor of students from the vocational stream concerning high school track. In light of these findings, the study recommended several practical actions, most notably: Systematically integrating smart agriculture applications and innovative agricultural technologies into the curricula of vocational education programs. Encouraging students to conduct applied research projects that address sustainable agriculture challenges and contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals, particularly in the areas of food security and efficient resource use.
