هدفت الدراسة إلى تقصي أثر استخدام استراتيجية قبعات التفكير الست في التحصيل والاتجاهات نحو مادة الرياضيات لطلاب الصف السادس الأساسي في الأردن، وتكونت عينتها من (52) طالبا من طلبة الصف السادس الأساسي تم اختيارها بطريقة قصدية، قسمت إلى مجموعتين عشوائيا: المجموعة التجريبية درست باستخدام استراتيجية قبعات التفكير الست، والمجموعة الضابطة درست باستخدام الطريقة التقليدية، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم بناء اختبار تحصيلي، وتطبيق مقياس الاتجاهات. وقد أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين نتائج الطلبة في مجموعتي الدراسة في التحصيل والاتجاهات نحو الرياضيات لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. في ضوء نتائج الدراسة ومناقشتها التي خلصت إلى وجود أثر لاستراتيجية قبعات التفكير الست على التحصيل والاتجاهات نحو الرياضيات يوصي الباحثان بالتأكيد على استخدام استراتيجية قبعات التفكير الست في تدريس الرياضيات وغيرها من الموضوعات الدراسية وتوفير البيئة التربوية الداعمة والمشجعة للمعلمين على استخدام استراتيجية قبعات التفكير الست. This study aims to investigate the effect of teaching using the six thinking hats on academic achievement and attitudes towards Mathematics of six graders in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of (52) male students of the six grade selected by the intentional method who were randomly divided into two groups. Experimental group studied through a teaching study based on the six thinking hats. The other was the control group; receiving teaching through the traditional method. The results of the study showed that there are significant differences between the two groups, developing academic achievement and attitudes toward mathematics, in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results of the study and their discussion which revealed that there is an effect of the six thinking hats on achievement and attitudes towards mathematics, the researchers recommend emphasizing the use of the six thinking hats in teaching mathematics and other subjects and saving a supportive and encouraging educational environment for teachers to use the six thinking hats.
