هدفت الدراسة إلى تقدير درجة الكفاءة الخارجية لكلية الآثار والسياحة في الجامعة الأردنية، إذ تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وبلغت عينتها بالطريقة المتاحة من (77) خريجا، ولتحقيق الهدف من الدراسة ولجمع البيانات تم تطوير استبانة تكونت من (58) فقرة، تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. وكانت أهم نتائج الدراسة: أن درجة الكفاءة الخارجية لكلية الآثار والسياحة في الجامعة الأردنية كانت عالية للأداة ككل. وترتبت أبعاد الأداة حسب متوسطاتها الحسابية تنازليا كما يلي: القيم والأخلاقيات، السمات العامة، المعرفة المتخصصة، المعرفة العامة، المهارات العامة، المهارات المتخصصة. وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة الإحصائية (α=0.05) بين متوسطات تقديرات أرباب العمل لأداء خريجي كلية الآثار والسياحة في الجامعة الأردنية تعزى لمتغيرات (الجنس، والخبرة، الدورات التدريبية) على جميع أبعاد المقياس. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة، أوصى الباحثان بضرورة متابعة الخريجين وتقديم الدعم المستمر لهم للمحافظة على هذا المستوى من الأداء العالي، والاهتمام بتنمية بعض المهارات العامة والتخصصية لديهم، وإجراء بحوث أخرى عن الكفاءة الداخلية والخارجية لكليات السياحة والآثار في الأردن. The study was designed to determine the external efficiency of the Faculty of Archeology and Tourism. A descriptive approach was used in this study. The sample of the study consisted of (77) graduates. A (58)-item questionnaire was constructed. The dimensions of the instrument were based on their subtotal averages as follows: values and ethics, general characteristics, specialized knowledge, general knowledge, general skills, and specialized skills. The study finds that the external efficiency of the Faculty of Archeology and Tourism was high as a whole. There were no significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α=0.05) between the average estimates of employers for the performance of graduates of the Faculty of Archeology and Tourism at the University of Jordan due to the gender, experience, or training courses on all dimensions of the scale. In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommend the need to follow up on the performance of the graduates and provide continuous support for them to maintain this level of high performance. In addition, attention should be paid to the development of some general and specialized skills and to conducting other research on the internal and external efficiency of the colleges of tourism and archeology in Jordan.
