هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة الفرق في مستوى القلق لدى أولياء أمور الأطفال المعاقين والأطفال العاديين؛ حيث تكونت عينتها من (250) ولي أمر. (117) آباء لأطفال عاديين (133) آباء لأطفال معاقين.أداة الدراسة، تم استخدام مقياس تايلور للقلق الصريح. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنّ مستوى القلق لدى أولياء أمور الأطفال العاديين غير موجود؛ إذ إن المتوسط الحسابي لمستوى قلق أولياء أمور الأطفال العاديين بلغ (11.31)، مستوى القلق لدى أولياء أمور الأطفال المعاقين متوسط ؛ إذ بلغ المتوسط الحسابي لمستوى قلق أولياء أمور الأطفال المعاقين (22.60)، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) في مستوى القلق على مقياس تايلور تبعا لكل من متغيري الجنس وعمل ولي الأمر. وأوصت الدراسة بعديد من التوصيات، منها: تصميم برامج إرشادية تقوم على استراتيجية مواجهة الضغوط، أهمها القلق بالنسبة لأولياء أمور الأطفال المعاقين الذي يعتبر مفتاحا لجميع الاضطرابات السلوكية والانفعالية. The study aims at finding out the differences in the level of anxiety among parents of disabled children and the parents of normal ones. The study sample consisted of 250 parents distributed as follows: (117) parents of normal children and (133) parents of disabled ones. As for the study tool, Taylor scale of anxiety was used to measure the level of crude anxiety. The results showed that there was no anxiety level among the parents of normal children as the arithmetic average of the anxiety level of the normal children's parents was (11.31). On the other hand, there was (average anxiety) level among the parents of disabled children as the arithmetic average of the anxiety level of the disabled children's parents was (22.60). The study results showed significant statistical differences at formula (α=0.05) of Taylor scale of anxiety level in relation to the parents' variety of work and gender. Accordingly, the study recommended several recommendations including the design of counselling programs based on the strategy that copes with pressures and most importantly the parents' anxiety of disabled children, which is the key to all behavioral and emotional disorders.
