This study aimed to identify the degree of practice of soft leadership skills among the principals of secondary government schools in the first district of Zarqa, where the study used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study community may consist of (80) school principal (40) school principal and his assistant, the study has used the questionnaire as a tool in data collection, and the study came out with the most important results, which is that there is an average estimate of the practice of leadership skills among principals of secondary government schools as well as there are differences in the degree of exercise of leadership skills Among the principals of schools, the first Zarqa directorate, with the rank of director, where the results of the study confirmed that there is a positive relationship between the practice of soft leadership skills and the performance of principals, and there is a role to a high degree in training and professional development in promoting the practice of soft leadership skills among principals of secondary government schools. Preparing programs to improve the quality of education in general, as well as the need to add a course concerned with the study of soft leadership for students at the school level.
