This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of an educational program based on a Montessori curriculum to develop phonological awareness skills in a sample of specific learning disorder students in order to achieve the objectives of the study, an available sample consisting of seven third and fourth graders, including four males and three females, were selected. A scale of phonological awareness skills has been constructed, verified and validated and finalized in 69 paragraphs. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences between the tribal and tele-application of phonological consciousness skills and for the benefit of dimensional application, which meant that the Montessori curriculum-based educational program had an effect on the development of phonological awareness skills. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the dimensional mathematical averages of phonological awareness skills attributable to sex. The study recommended the use of the program used in this study based on the Montessori curriculum. (Published abstract)
