The degree of public school principals practicing the skill of intellectual creativity in resolving crises from the point of view of teachers in Ain Al-Basha education directorate in Al-Balqa Governorate [Article]
This research aimed to know the degree to which government school principals practice the skill of intellectual creativity in resolving crises from the point of view of teachers in the Ain Al-Basha Education Directorate in Balqa Governorate. The research used the descriptive survey method, and a questionnaire was used that consisted of (4) areas and (29) items. The first domain was about sensitivity to problems in (8) paragraphs, the second domain was about originality in (8) paragraphs, the third domain was about perseverance in (7) paragraphs, and the fourth domain was about initiative in (6) paragraphs, and it was applied to a sample consisting of (1,000) male and female teachers in the schools of the Ain Al-Basha District, and the sample was selected by a stratified random method. The results of the study indicated that the degree of government school principals’ practice of the skill of intellectual creativity in resolving crises from the point of view of teachers in the Ain Al-Basha Education Directorate in Balqa Governorate was moderate. The results of the study indicated There were statistically significant differences (α=1415) attributed to the effect of gender, where the P value reached (24807) and a statistical significance of (0.029), and these differences are attributed to the benefit of the female teachers. There were no statistically significant differences (α=1415) due to the effect of the years of experience, as the F value reached (1.160) and a statistical significance amounted to (14787), and the presence of statistically significant differences (α=0.05) due to the effect of academic qualification, where the F value reached (3.997) and with a statistical significance of (0.046). These differences are attributed to the benefit of male and female teachers who hold postgraduate certificates. The study came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is that male and female teachers should participate in developing proposals and providing solutions to the crises facing the educational process, whether inside or outside the school. They must there is an interest in refining the skills of managers in modern ways, working on training them to increase ways of sensing a problem before it occurs, and working to support the creative behaviors and leadership skills that managers produce through continuous training courses in their workplaces.
