هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على أثر ممارسة الإدارة الاستراتيجية في مؤسسات التعليم العالي بشكل عام وجامعة الاستقلال بشكل خاص، وكذلك الكشف عما إذا كانت هناك فروق بين متوسطات اتجاهات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول مدى ممارسات الإدارة الاستراتيجية في جامعة الاستقلال. ولتحقيق هدف البحث استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليل، واعتمد الباحثان في توزيع الاستبانة على عينة المسح الشامل، حيث اشتملت عينة البحث على (74) من النواب والعمداء ورؤساء الأقسام والمديرين في جامعة الاستقلال من أصل مجتمع الدراسة والبالغ عددهم (74)، مفردة بنسبة استرداد 100%، كما اعتمدنا في تحليل البيانات على أساليب الإحصاء الوصفي باستخدام برنامج (SPSS). وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها: أكدت الدراسة على وجود أثر كبير ومميز لممارسة الإدارة الاستراتيجية في مؤسسات التعليم العالي بشكل عام، وجامعة الاستقلال على وجهة الخصوص حيث بلغت تقديرات عينة الدراسة حول أثر ممارسة الإدارة الاستراتيجية في جامعة الاستقلال بنسبة (71%)، كما أشارت النتائج إلى أن الإدارة العليا للجامعة لديها رؤيا مستقبلية باحتياجات من الموارد البشرية والمادية، كما يعزي الباحثان إلى ارتقاء الجامعة من خلال التطورات المستمرة لدى الجامعة والتي تسعى الجامعة إلى تحقيقها من خلال رؤيتها المستقبلية. وبناء على ما جاءت به نتائج الدراسة كان من أهم توصيات الباحثان: أن تقوم الإدارة الجامعية على وضع البدائل الاستراتيجية المناسبة في عملية صياغة الاستراتيجية في مؤسسات التعليم العالي بشكل عام وجامعة الاستقلال بشكل خاص؛ وأن تعمل الإدارة الجامعية على تحديد المستفيدون من الجامعة من حيث أماكن تواجدهم. وكذلك اهتمام الإدارة الجامعية بالثقافة التنظيمية وتحديد نقاط القوة ونقاط الضعف في البيئة الداخلية للجامعة. The aim of this research is to identify the impact of strategic management practice in higher education institutions in general and Istiqlal University in particular, as well as to reveal whether there are differences between the average trends of the study sample members on the extent of strategic management practices at Istiqlal University, To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers used the descriptive method of analysis, and the researchers relied in the distribution of the questionnaire on the sample of the comprehensive survey, where the sample of the research included (74) deputies, deans, department heads and directors of the University of Independence out of the study community of 74, single with a recovery rate of 100%, In data analysis, we also relied on descriptive statistic methods using SPSS. The study reached several results, the most important of which: the study confirmed that there is a significant and distinctive impact of the practice of strategic management in higher education institutions in general, and the University of Independence in particular, where the sample estimates of the study on the impact of the practice of strategic management at Istiqlal University by 71%), and the results indicated that the senior management of the university has a vision for the future With the needs of human and material resources, the researchers also attribute the advancement of the university through the continuous developments at the university, which the university seeks to achieve through its vision of the future, and based on the results of the study was one of the most important recommendations of the researchers: that the university administration develop strategic alternatives Appropriate in the process of formulating the strategy in higher education institutions in general and the University of Independence in particular. The university administration should work to determine the beneficiaries of the university in terms of their whereabouts. University management is also interested in organizational culture and identifying strengths and weaknesses in the university's internal environment. (Published abstract)
