 هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى أسباب عزوف أكاديميو الرياضة في الجامعات الفلسطينية عن التطوع للعمل بالأندية الرياضية الفلسطينية، إضافة إلى الفروق في أسباب عزوفهم تبعاً لمتغير المؤهل العلم، التخصص الدقيق، وسنوات الخبرة. ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي وألإستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات من عينة عشوائية طبقية قوامها (25) أكاديمياً رياضياً من الجامعات الفلسطينية. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن من أهم أسباب عزوف أكاديميو الرياضة في الجامعات الفلسطينية عن التطوع للعمل بالأندية الرياضية الفلسطينية هو وعلى التوالي: المجال الاقتصادي (3.83)، المجال النفسي (3.48)، المجال الأكاديمي (3.04)، وأخيراً المجال الاجتماعي (2.58). كما وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق في أسباب العزوف عن التطوع للعمل بالأندية الرياضية تعزى لمتغيرات الدراسة الوسيطة (المؤهل العلمي، التخصص الدقيق، وسنوات الخبرة). وقد أوصى الباحث بعدة توصيات منها: ضرورة ضمان الاستقرار الإداري للعمل التطوعي في الأندية الرياضية من خلال اختيار الأكاديميين المتفرغين للتطوع للقيام بأعمال إدارية وفنية داخل الأندية. This study aimed to investigate the reason behind the PE academics in Palestinian universities averting from volunteering in Palestinian sport clubs as well as the reasons behind it as stratified by variables, such as education, specialization, and years of experience. The author employed a descriptive approach and a survey as a tool for data collection distributed at a stratified sample of (25) PE academics in Palestinian universities. The results showed that the reasons for Palestinian Universities academics to avoid volunteering in Palestinian sport clubs are as follows: the economic situation (3.83), the psychological situation (3.48), the academic situation (3.04), and the social situation (2.58), respectively. The results did not reveal any discrepancies among the reasons for avoiding volunteering in the sport clubs that can be related to intermediate variables (education, specialization, years of experience). The author recommends several remarks: Ensuring a stable management for volunteering in the Palestinian sport clubs via appointing academics to perform administrative and tactical work in the clubs.
