هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى فحص مستوى التفكير التاريخي لدى طلبة مساق القضية الفلسطينية في جامعة فلسطين التقنية (خضوري)، أجريت الدراسة في الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي (2022/2023). وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة مساق القضية الفلسطينية في جامعة فلسطين التقنية ، والبالغ عددهم (505) طالبًا وطالبةً. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (152) طالبًا وطالبةً تم اختيارهم بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، وقد طور الباحثان أداة للدراسة، وهي استبانة خيارات تقيس مستوى التفكير التاريخي لدى الطلبة، إذ تكونت من (25) فقرة، موزعة في خمسة محاور هي: (التسلسل الزمني، الفهم والاستيعاب التاريخي، التحليل والتفسير التاريخي، البحث التاريخي، القضايا التاريخية واتخاذ القرار)، وقد تم التحقق من صدق أداة الدراسة وثباتها، فقد بلغ معامل الثبات (0.93). وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى التفكير التاريخي لدى طلبة كان بمعدل (61 %)، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات التفكير التاريخي تعزى لمتغيرات (الجنس، التخصص، مكان السكن). وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة استحداث بعض المساقات ضمن متطلبات الجامعة التي تهتم بالتفكير بشكل عام والتفكير التاريخي بشكل خاص. The purpose of this study was to assess the level of historical thinking among students of the Palestinian issue course in Palestine Technical University (Kadoorie), at the first semester of the academic year (2022 -2023). The population of the study consisted of (505 male and female students), where a stratified cluster sample of (152) students was selected. A questionnaire of historical thinking was used in this study; this questionnaire has five scales containing five items in each scale with a total of (25) items distributed in five scales (Chronological Thinking, Historical Comprehension, Historical Analysis and Interpretation, Historical Research Capabilities, Historical Issues-Analysis and Decision-Making). The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified, and its reliability coefficient was (0. 93). The study revealed that the level of historical thinking among students of the Palestinian issue course in Palestine Technical University (Kadoorie) was moderate with percentage (61%). It also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences due to gender, Faculty and residence, on the historical thinking. The study recommended the need to develop some courses within the requirements of the university that are concerned with thinking in general and historical thinking in particular. (Published abstract)
