هدفت الدراسة التعرف على العلاقة بين المهارات القيادية وتقدير الذات لدى الطلاب الموهوبين، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، حيث بلغت العينة (183) من الطلاب الموهوبين، كما تم تطبيق مقياس المهارات القيادية، ومقياس تقدير الذات. أظهرت النتائج ارتفاع مستوى المهارات القيادية ومستوى تقدير الذات لدى الطلاب الموهوبين. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًّا في مستوى المهارات القيادية يعزى لمتغير النوع ولصالح الإناث، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًّا في مستوى المهارات القيادية يعزى لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فقد أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًّا في مستوى تقدير الذات يعزى لمتغير النوع ولصالح الإناث، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًّا في مستوى تقدير الذات يعزى لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية. كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة دالة إحصائيًّا بين المهارات القيادية وتقدير الذات لدى الطلاب الموهوبين. The study aimed to identify the relationship between leadership skills and self esteem among gifted students, following the descriptive correlational method. The sample consisted of (183) gifted students, The instruments of leadership skills and self-esteem were applied (prepared by the researcher). The results showed a high level of both leadership skills and self-esteem among gifted students. Also, results indicated that there were statistically significant differences on the level of leadership skills due to gender, while they indicated that there were no statistically significant differences on the level of leadership skills due to educational stage. In addition, results indicated that there were statistically significant differences on the level of self- esteem due to gender, while they indicated that there were no statistically significant differences on the level of self- esteem due to educational stage. Moreover, results found a direct correlation, and a statistically significant relationship between leadership skills and self- esteem among gifted students. (Published abstract)
