هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقصي درجة استخدام طلبة الجامعة الأردنية لتكنولوجيا التواصل الاجتماعي وعلاقتها بمستوى الشعور بالاغتراب الاجتماعي، وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة كلية الآداب في الجامعة الأردنية إذ بلغ عددهم (2512) طالباً وطالبة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (458) طالبا وطالبة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية العنقودية، شكلوا ما نسبته (18.2%) من مجتمع الدراسة، وقد تم استخدام أداتين: الأولى لدرجة استخدام تكنولوجيا التواصل الاجتماعي والثانية لمستوى الشعور بالاغتراب الاجتماعي، وقد تم استخراج دلالات الصدق والثبات لهما، وتم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون للإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة، وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة استخدام تكنولوجيا التواصل الاجتماعي جاءت مرتفعة. كما جاء مستوى الشعور بالاغتراب الاجتماعي متوسطاً. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجة استخدام تكنولوجيا التواصل الاجتماعي ومستوى الشعور بالاغتراب الاجتماعي. This study aimed at investigating the social media technology and its relationship with the level of social alienation feeling of students at the University of Jordan, The study population consisted of all faculty members of arts students at the University of Jordan, Their number reached (2512) male and female student. The study sample consisted of (458) male and female students, they were selected by the random clustered method, they formed (18.2%) from the study population. Two instruments have been used: The first for the degree of using social media technology, and the second for level of social alienation feeling. Their validity and reliability were assured. Also, means and standard deviations, and Pearson Correlation Coefficient were used to answer the study questions. The results revealed that the degree of using social media technology was high, and the level of feeling of social alienation was medium, Also the results showed that the presence of a relationship with statistically significance between the degree of using social media technology and the level of social alienation feeling.
