هدفت الدراسة التعرف على المهارات البحثية في ضوء الأدوار الجديدة للمعلم في عصر المعرفة لمعلمي العلوم الشرعية، ومن أجل تحقيق هدف الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في استبانة لتحديد المهارات البحثية في ضوء الأدوار الجديدة للمعلم في عصر المعرفة لمعلمي العلوم الشرعية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (120) معلماً من معلمي العلوم الشرعية في مدينة بريدة بالقطاع الشمالي، وأشارت النتائج إلى أن: مستويات الأدوار الجديدة لمعلمي العلوم الشرعية في ضوء عصر المعرفة جاءت بدرجات متوسطة، وأيضاً المهارات البحثية لمعلمي العلوم الشرعية جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، ولذلك أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تعزيز اكتساب معلمي العلوم الشرعية لكافة المهارات البحثية في ضوء الأدوار الجديدة للمعلم في عصر المعرفة وذلك من خلال تكثيف البرامج والدورات التدريبية. The study aimed to investigate the research skills in the light of the new roles of teachers in the era of knowledge for teachers of Islamic education, using the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire as a data collection which was applied on a sample of (120) teachers of Islamic Education in the city of Buraidah in the northern sector. As a result, the findings of the study showed that the levels of the new roles for Islamic education teachers in the light of the era of knowledge came in medium levels, and also the research skills of Islamic education teachers came in medium level, and therefore this study recommended the need to strengthen the acquisition of Islamic education teachers for all research skills in the light of the new roles of teachers in the era of knowledge through training programs and courses.
