هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور مدیري المدارس في مدیریة التربیة والتعلیم للواء (قصبة إربد) بتحقیق التنمیة المهنیة للمعلمین وعلاقتها بتمیزهم الوظیفي، حیث استخدم المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، والاستبانة أداة لجمع البیانات، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من 1567 معلما ومعلمة، وتكونت عینة الدراسة من 403 معلما ومعلمة تم اختیارهم بالطریقة العشوائیة البسیطة؛ وأظهرت النتائج أن دور مدیري المدارس في مدیریة تربیة للواء (قصبة إربد) في تحقیق التنمیة المهنیة للمعلمین من وجهة نظر المعلمین جاءت بدرجة كبیرة، وأن مستوى التمیز الوظیفي للمعلمین في مدارس لواء (قصبة إربد) من وجهة نظرهم جاء بدرجة كبیرة، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطیة موجبة ذات دلالة إحصائیة عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) بین دور مدیري المدارس في مدیریة التربیة والتعلیم للواء (قصبة إربد) بتحقیق التنمیة المهنیة للمعلمین وتمیز الوظیفي؛ وبناء على النتائج التي توصلت إلیها الدراسة، فقد أوصت بضرورة الاستمرار بعقد دورات تدریبیة لمدیري المدارس حول التنمیة المهنیة. The study aimed to identify the role of school principals in the Directorate of Education in the Kasbah of Irbid District in achieving professional development for teachers and its relationship to their career excellence. The researchers used relational descriptive approach and the questionnaire tool for data collection. The study population consisted of (1567), whereas the study sample consisted of (403) male and female teachers who were chosen by the simple random method. The results showed that the role of school principals in the directorate of education of the Kasbah Irbid District in achieving the professional development of teachers from the teachers’ point of view was significantly high, and that the level of career excellence for teachers in the schools of the District of Irbid from their point of view was significantly high. The results also showed a positive and statistically significant relationship at the significance level (α=0.05) between the role of school principals in Kasbah Ibid district Directorate of Education in achieving professional development and teachers' Career Excellence. Based on the findings of the study recommended the need to continue holding training courses for school principals on professional development. (Published abstract)
