نظرا لأن معظم مقاييس الحديث الذاتي تنبثق من توجهات نظرية محددة، ولا يوجد بينها ارتباط، وتعاني من مشاكل الذاكرة الانتقائية؛ فقد تبنى الباحث نموذجا موسعا؛ للاستفادة من توجهات النظريات الرئيسة، كنظرية العلاج المعرفي، ونظرية التنظيم الذاتي عند "فيجوتسكي"؛ لبناء مقياس الحديث الذاتي. وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة، تم التطبيق على عينة مكونة من 319 طالبا وطالبة من كلية التربية بالمجمعة، وكشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود عاملين، هما: التنظيم الذاتي، والأثر الانفعالي. وقد تم تأكيد هذا البناء من خلال التحليل العاملي التوكيدي. وأظهر المقياس في صورته النهائية (22 فقرة) خصائص سيكومترية مناسبة، حيث بلغت قيمة معامل ثبات أبعاده 0.93 و0.85 على التوالي. كما تمتع المقياس بدلالات متعددة للصدق. Most measures of self-talk originate from specific theoretical orientations, and there is no correlation between them and suffer from problems of selective memory; For these reasons, the researcher adopted an expanded model to take advantage of the main theories orientations, such as the cognitive therapy theory, and the self-regulated theory at Vygotsky, to develop self-talk scale. To answer the study questions. A sample of 319 students from the College of Education was employed. Study results revealed two factors: self-regulation and emotional effect. This construction has been confirmed by the factor analyses confirmed. The final version of the scale (22 items) displayed good psychometric properties, where coefficients alpha for the two subscales were 0.93 and 0.85 respectively.
