يهدف البحث للكشف عن واقع مراكز الاستشارات والتنمية الأسرية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وكذلك إيجاد أفضل السبل لتفعيل الدور التربوي المأمول لمراكز الاستشارات والتنمية الأسرية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي (الوثائقي). ويتكون مجتمع البحث من جميع مراكز الاستشارات والتنمية الأسرية في المملكة العربية السعودية (الحكومية والأهلية)، وقد اختار الباحث ثلاثة مراكز للاستشارات والتنمية الأسرية في المملكة عينة للبحث، وهي: جمعية المودة للتنمية الأسرية بجدة، وجمعية التنمية الأسرية بالأحساء، وجمعية الشيخ ابن باز للتنمية الأسرية بالرياض، وقد كان من نتائج البحث ما يلي: أظهرت النتائج وجود دور تربوي لمراكز الاستشارات والتنمية الأسرية، من خلال تقديم الاستشارات والدورات والمطبوعات، لكنه دون المستوى المطلوب. ضرورة فتح قنوات اتصال مستمرة بين مراكز الاستشارات، وبين المؤسسات الاجتماعية والخيرية والتطوعية، للتعرف على طبيعة الصعوبات التي تعترض الحياة الزوجية لحديثي الزواج. ضرورة قيام مديري المراكز بعمل زيارات ميدانية للقطاعات الحكومية والعسكرية والأهلية لتفعيل الشراكات، وتقديم الخدمات مثل خدمة المستشار الزائر. ضرورة العمل على تنفيذ الاستشارات النفسية والاجتماعية والتربوية والأسرية للعائدين من الحرب. ضرورة العمل على تنفيذ الاستشارات بالمقابلة في المولات التجارية. The research aims to reveal the reality of the centers of counseling and family development in Saudi Arabia, as well as finding the best ways to activate the educational role hoped for the centers of counseling and family development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The researcher used descriptive method. The research community consists of all the centers of consultation and family development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (government and private). The researcher chose three centers for consultation and family development in the Kingdom, a sample of the research: Association of affection for family development in Jeddah. Family Development Association in Al-Ahsa. Sheikh Ibn Baz Family Development Society in Riyadh. The results of the research were as follows: The results showed an educational role for family counseling and development centers, through the provision of consultations, courses and publications, but below the required level. The need to open channels of continuous communication between counseling centers, and between social, charitable and voluntary institutions, to identify the nature of the difficulties that face marital life of the newlyweds. The need for the directors of the centers to conduct field visits to the government, military and civil sectors to activate partnerships and provide services such as the service of the visiting consultant. The need to implement psychological, social, educational and family counseling for those who return from war. The necessity of working on the implementation of consulting interview in commercial malls. (Published abstract)
