The study aimed to identify the degree of psychological burnout and the level of problem-solving skill among teachers in the Marka district education directorate and the relationship between them. The study sample consisted of (197) teachers. The researcher prepared a questionnaire to measure the level of burnout for teachers, which consisted of (28) items, and a questionnaire to measure the level of problem-solving skill, which consisted of (26) items. The results showed that the level of burnout among teachers is on average, and there are no statistically significant differences in the level of burnout among teachers due to the gender variable, and there are statistically significant differences due to the variable years of experience toward the higher group. The results also indicated that the level of problem-solving skill of teachers ranged from medium to high, and there were no statistically significant differences in the level of problem-solving skill due to the variables of gender and years of experience, and there is an inverse statistically significant correlation relationship at the level of significance (α=0.01), between burnout and problem solving, as the Pearson correlation coefficient between burnout and problem solving is (-0.64). The researcher recommended preparing programs aimed at reducing teachers' burnout and training teachers on problem-solving skill. (Published abstract)
