The reality of blended learning in achieving sustainable development among Yarmouk University students from the faculty members' point of view [Article]
The study aimed to identify the reality of blended learning in achieving sustainable development among Yarmouk University students from the point of view of faculty members, and to reveal the differences in the reality of blended learning in achieving sustainable development according to the study variables: gender, academic rank, and college. The descriptive approach and the questionnaire were used as a tool for data collection after verifying its validity and reliability. The study population consisted of all faculty members at Yarmouk University of the rank of (assistant professor, associate, professor), who numbered (0776) faculty members, and the study sample consisted of (300) faculty members who were selected by simple random method. The results of the study showed that the reality of blended learning in achieving sustainable development among Yarmouk University students from the point of view of the faculty members came to a large degree, and there were no statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) for the reality of blended learning in achieving sustainable development due to the two variables. (gender, academic rank), and there are differences due to the college variable in favor of scientific colleges. Based on the findings of the study, it recommended that faculty members continue to employ blended education in the educational process for its role in achieving sustainable development for students.
