This study aimed to investigate the degree to which school principals at Tafila Governorate possess skills of communicative competences, the study sample consisted of 294 teachers who were selected randomly. In order to achieve the study objectives, the researcher developed a questionnaire where reliability and validity of the questionnaire were ensured, moreover, the questionnaire consisted of (41) items distributed over four domains: communicative competences, linguistic and cognitive communicative competences, technical and physical communicative competences, psychological and social communicative competences, and value communicative competences. Its validity and reliability were approved. The results indicated that the degree of school principals’ possession of communicative competences was mid, and there were a statistically significant differences in linguistic and social communicative competences domain attributed to sex in favor of male teachers, and there were statistically significant differences in social and psychological communicative competences domain in favor of teachers who have a bachelor's degree with less than 10 years' experience.
