The study aims to reveal the reality of applying the indicators of the effective school in the schools of the Directorate of Education in the southern Badia region, during the Academic years 2018-2021. The study was conducted in the Directorate of Education in the Southern Badia region in the south of Jordan. The study population ran to (78) managers, the study used the descriptive analytic approach, the study sample consisted of (48) managers. The researcher designed a questionnaire as a data collection tool consisting of (60) items distributed over two domains: the learning and education and the students environment. The findings showed that the reality of applying the indicators of effective school in the learning and education and students environment domains were in a high estimation degree, and they showed that the indicator of linking knowledge to life came in the last grade. Furthermore, the findings revealed that there were statistically significant differences at applying the indicators due to both: the functional name for the female managers and the academic qualifications for whom who hold bachelor's degree. Based on the findings of the study, a set of recommendation came out, the importance of linking knowledge to life, taking in charge actions and activities to create opportunities for practical applying and applying the concepts. and theories in real life situations.
