The study aimed to identify the use of mobile phone applications in libraries and its impact on the perception of added digital value among a sample of members of youth centers in Karak Governorate. In Al-Karak, the study relied on the descriptive correlational approach, and a digital value-added perception scale was prepared and consisted of (45) items. The results showed that (25.2%) use phones several times a year, and (22.9) use phones at least once a month. As for the category of those who rarely use phones, it amounted to (22.9%). The percentage of those who use it at least once a week is (19.1%), and the percentage of those who use it at least once a day is (9.9%).It is clear that more than half of them (54%) indicated that they depend on their smartphones to use libraries and benefit from their services, and on the other hand, nearly 39% of students indicated that they do not depend on their smartphones to use libraries and benefit from their services, that (43 1% of the members of the study community depended on their smartphones to access library sites on the Internet, while (33.8%) used them to access both the site and the application together, while the lowest percentage, which is about (23.1%) of the members, they depended on it through the applications of the library, a percentage that reflects the lack of applications of libraries in general. There is a significant effect of members' interaction with mobile phone applications on the member's perceived value towards these applications in its three dimensions, and there is a significant effect at 0.01 for three of the dimensions of members' interaction with mobile phone applications on the total perceived value, and there is a significant effect at 0.05 for two dimensions on the value. The total perceived value of the members, and it was found that there is no significant effect of the (interdependence) dimension on the total perceived value of the members. (Published abstract)
