This study aimed to identify the contribution degree of public and private school principals in promoting community partnership as perceived by university district teachers. The researcher followed the descriptive survey approach, and a questionnaire was developed for the current study consisting of (104) items divided into three axes: the first to measure the degree of school principals’ contribution to promoting community partnership and it consisted of (3) areas and (51) items, and the second to measure the obstacles Strengthening the community partnership between schools and the local community, and it consists of (4) areas and (40) items, and the third is to measure ways to develop community partnerships, and it includes (13) items whose validity and reliability indications have been verified. The study sample consisted of (384) male and female teachers of private and public schools in the University District, Amman. The results of the study showed that the degree of school principals' contribution to promoting community partnership was high. The results also showed statistically significant differences attributed to gender, while there aren’t statistically significant differences attributed to the school type or experience variables. There were no statistically significant differences attributable to the type of school or dusty experience. In addition, the study clarified that the most critical obstacles to strengthening community partnership are societal obstacles. (Published abstract)
