هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم رؤية تربوية مقترحة لتقليص الفجوةِ بين النمو المعرفيّ والنمو الأخلاقيّ لدى الطالب السعودي، وللوصول إلى هذا الهدف سعت الدراسةُ إلى التعرف على وتيرة النمو المعرفيّ والنمو الأخلاقيّ وفقًال مظاهرهما لتقدير حجم الفجوة بينهما، وكذلك الأسباب التي أدت إلى حدوث هذه الفجوة، والمتطلبات التربوية لتقليص هذه الفجوة بين النمو المعرفيّ والنمو الأخلاقيّ، واستخدمتِ الدراسةُ المنهجَ الوصفيَّ، والذي اعتمد على تحليل الأدبيات والنظريات والتقارير والدراسات العلمية ذاتِ العلاقة. وأشارتْ نتائجُ الدراسة إلى وجود فجوة كبيرة بين النمو المعرفيّ والنمو الأخلاقيّ في الوقت الحاضر، وتوصلت الدراسةُ إلى عددٍ من الأسباب التي أحدثت هذه الفجوةَ، والتي كان معظمها يعود إلى أسباب تربوية، كما قدمت الدراسةُ متطلباتٍ تربويةً لتقليص الفجوة، وانتهتِ الدراسةُ إلى الوصول إلى رؤيةٍ تربويةٍ مقترحةٍ ركزت على أدوارٍ جديدة للمؤسسات التربوية لتعزيز النمو الأخلاقيّ. This study aimed to provide a proposed educational vision to reduce the gap between the knowledgeable growth and the ethical growth to achieve this goal, the study sought to identify the pace of the knowledgeable growth and the Ethical growth, to evaluate their aspects to be able to assess the gapinter-dimensions, to conclude reasons that led to this gap, and the educational requirements to reduce such gap. The present study adopted the descriptive approach which based on the analysis of literature, theories, reports and related scientific studies. The results indicated the presence of a great gap between the knowledgeable growth and the Ethical growth, related to several reasons mostly were educational. The study presented educational requirements essentially to reduce the gap, among were new roles for educational institutions to be promoted ethical growth. (Published abstract)
