هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى مشاركة طالبات كلية الخدمة الاجتماعية بجامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبد الرحمن في العمل التطوعي من وجهة نظر عينة من طالبات كلية الخدمة الاجتماعية في جامعة الأميرة نورة، وبلغ عددهن (99) طالبة، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وأداة الدراسة كانت الاستبانة، وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن حرص الطالبات على المشاركة في العمل التطوعي والتزامهن بخصائص المشاركين بالعمل التطوعي، مثل: حسن المظهر أثناء القيام بالأعمال التطوعية، والتعامل بإخلاص، وقناعتهن بأهمية العمل التطوعي، واحترامهن لمن يشاركهن، واحتسابهن عند القيام بهذا العمل الخيري، وحرصهن على أخذ الأذن من والديهم قبل المشاركة، ومحافظتهن على الممتلكات العامة أثناء القيام بالعمل التطوعي، وتشجيعهن الأعمال التطوعية، والاطلاع على الثقافات الأخرى في مجال العمل التطوعي، والتخطيط الجيد قبل القيام بهذه الأعمال. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة الاستمرار في المشاركة في العمل التطوعي لدى الطالبات في كلية الخدمة الاجتماعية، وضرورة حث الطالبات للمساهمة والإنفاق في دعم العمل التطوعي لتربية النفس على البذل، وحثهن على تحديد الأهداف قبل البدء بأي عمل. They study aims to identify the obligation degree with volunteering work values for female students of Social Work College in Princess Nourah University out of the student's view in Princess Nourah University, as their number is (99) students. The study depended on the analytic and descriptive methodology. The study tool is questionnaire. Moreover, the study showed how students care for good appearance and do the volunteering work with good deal while participating in volunteering work. Also, they are aware of the importance of volunteering work with directing their respect to volunteering workers, as they are valuing the charity work also to take permission from their parents before participations. They keep all public properties while doing the volunteering works to encourage them on volunteering work and know about other cultures in the field of volunteering work and good planning to do these works. The study recommends to encourage students to do volunteering works through projects for serving society in the light of university's requirements, and forming specialized centers that clarify volunteering work to be inside the university and make seminars and lectures that focus on importance of participating in volunteering work and spread culture of volunteering work in society through media, home, and school etc. (Published abstract)
