هدفت الدراسة إلى تقديم تصور مقترح لتطوير كفايات القيادات الأكاديمية العليا بالجامعات السعودية في ضوء أبعاد التنمية المستدامة. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، واستخدم الباحث استبانة طبقها على القيادات الأكاديمية العليا بالجامعات ( 28 مدير جامعة، 128 وكيل جامعة)، من أجل التعرف على الكفايات المتوفرة لدى القيادات الأكاديمية في ضوء أبعاد التنمية المستدامة، ومعوقات تنفيذ هذا البرنامج، وسبل التغلب عليها . وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: حرص أفراد الدراسة على تحقيق التكامل بين الكفايات المرتبطة بالأبعاد الثلاث للتنمية المستدامة (الاقتصادية، الاجتماعية، البيئية) والكفايات المرتبطة بشخصية القائد وأدواره المختلفة، كما توجد بعض المعوقات التي تقف في سبيل تنفيذ برنامج التنمية المستدامة للقيادات الأكاديمية ومن أبرزها غياب اللوائح الملزمة للقائد الأكاديمي لحضور البرامج التدريبية، الاعتداد بالنفس، تخصيص الموارد المالية لمجالات بعيدة عن الاستثمار في الموارد البشرية، كما حددت الدراسة بعض المقترحات لتطوير كفايات القيادات الأكاديمية في ضوء أبعاد التنمية المستدامة ومنها: وضع معايير محددة لتقويم كفايات القيادات الأكاديمية العليا وتفعيلها عند ترقيتهم، وإعداد مادة تدريبية نوعية ذات جودة عالية مرتبطة بتطوير كفايات القيادات الأكاديمية العليا. ثم قدمت الدراسة تصوراً مقترحاً لتطوير كفايات القيادات الأكاديمية العليا بالجامعات السعودية في ضوء أبعاد التنمية المستدامة. The study aimed at presenting a proposed scenario for developing the competencies of the higher academic leadership in Saudi universities in light of the dimensions of sustainable development. The study was based on the descriptive approach. The researcher used a questionnaire applied to the university's top academic leaders (28 university administrators and 128 university representatives) to identify the competencies available to academic leaders in light of the dimensions of sustainable development and the obstacles to implementing them. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The study showed the keenness of the members of the study to achieve the integration between competencies related to the three dimensions of sustainable development (Economic, social and environmental dimensions) and competencies related to the personality of the leader and his various roles. There are some obstacles to the implementation of the program of sustainable development of academic leaders, notably the absence of binding regulations for the academic leader to attend training programs, self-esteem, the allocation of financial resources to areas far from investing in human resources. - The study identified some proposals to develop the competencies of academic leaders in the light of the dimensions of sustainable development, including Setting specific criteria for evaluating the competencies of the higher academic leaders and activating them when they are promoted and preparing a quality training material related to developing the competencies of the higher academic leadership. The study presented a suggested scenario for developing the competencies of the higher academic leadership in Saudi universities in the light of the dimensions of sustainable development.
