هدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن واقع استخدام مهارات التواصل الرياضي لدى معلمي ومعلمات الرياضيات بمحافظة شرورة، وتكونت عينة البحث من (30) معلماً وَ (17) معلمةً، تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية، استخدم الباحثان ثلاث أدوات من إعدادهما، تمثلت في استبيان لمعرفة درجة أهمية مهارات التواصل الرياضي، وبطاقة ملاحظة لمعرفة درجة توفر هذه المهارات لدى المعلمين، ومقابلة شخصية لمعرفة آراء العينة حول واقع تدريسهم مهارات التواصل الرياضي، وأظهرت النتائج أنَّ جميع مهارات التواصل الرياضي كانت على درجة كبيرة من الأهمية من وجهة نظر أفراد العينة، وأنَّ درجة توفر المهارات لدى أفراد العينة متوسطة، وأنه لا توجد فروقٌ دالةٌ إحصائياً بين أفراد العيِّنة حول أهمية مهارات التواصل الرياضي وفقاً لمتغيري الجنس وسنوات الخدمة، في حين يوجد فرق دالٌ إحصائياً بين أفراد العيِّنة في درجة توفر المهارات وفقاً لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور، كما لا يُوجد فرقٌ دالٌ إحصائياً يُعزى لأثر سنوات الخدمة على درجة توفر تلك المهارات، وبيَّن البحث أن استخدام المعلمين والمعلمات لمهارات التواصل الرياضي مبني على استيعابهم لمفهوم التواصل الرياضي ونظرتهم لطلبتهم وأنهم لا يركزون على تدريس التواصل الرياضي ومهاراته مع وجود بعضٍ من الممارسات التي يقومون بها في مجال تدريس التواصل الرياضي تخطيطًا وتدريسًا وتقويمًا. This research aimed to investigate the status of using mathematical communication skills by mathematics teachers in the province of Sharurah, the sample consisted of 30 male teachers and 17 female teachers which were chosen randomly. A descriptive study was used and the finding resulted that all mathematical communication skills were very important where the degree of availability of skills among the sample was medium. There are no statistically significant differences between the sample regarding the importance of mathematical communication skills according to gender, variables and years of experience, whereas there are statistically significant differences among the sample in the degree of availability of skills according to gender variable in favor of males. Also, there are no statistically significant differences due to the effect of years of teaching service on the degree of availability of these skills. The study shows that using mathematical communication skills by male and female teachers is commensurate with their comprehension of the concept of mathematical communication and their views about students. It is also noted that teachers do not focus on promoting mathematical communication or teaching mathematical communication skills, despite the existence of some practices in the field of mathematical communication teaching as an element of curriculum planning, teaching and evaluation.
