هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى عينة من الطلبة الجامعيين في شمال الأردن، وعلاقته بمتغيرات الجنس، والكلية، والمعدل التراكمي، والسنة الدراسية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (764) طالباً وطالبة موزعين على (356 طالباً و408 طالبة) من جامعة جدارا الأهلية. قام الباحث باستخدام مقياس ترومسو للذكاء الاجتماعي (TSIS). حيث أشارت النتائج إلى أن الذكاء الاجتماعي كان بدرجة متوسطة على المقياس ككل، وعلى جميع أبعاده، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق في مستوى الذكاء الاجتماعي بين الجنسين لصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق بين الكليات لصالح الكليات العلمية، بينما لم تكون هناك فروق في المعدل التراكمي. وأظهرت النتائج أيضاً وجود فروق بين السنوات الدراسية لصالح طلبة السنة الثانية والثالثة. The present study aimed to detect level of social intelligence among university students in north Jordan, and its relationship to variables: Gender, Faculty, Cumulative average, and academic year, the sample consisted of (764) of students whom 356 males and 408 females from the Jadara University. The researcher used Tromso Social Intelligence Scale (TSIS). The results indicated that level of social intelligence come with medium degree to all dimensions and the overall scale, the results also showed differences in the level of social intelligence between males and females in favour of females, and differences between the faculties in favour of scientific faculties, and the other hand there were no differences in the cumulative average. The results also showed differences between the academic years that was in favour of the second and third year. (Published abstract)
