هدفت الدراسة تعّرف دور وحدة جودة التعليم والمساءلة في تطوير الكفايات الإدارية لمديري المدارس في محافظة إربد من وجهة نظر المديرين. تكوّن مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مديري المدارس الأساسية والثانوية في محافظة إربد والبالغ عددهم (654) مديراً ومديرة، وقد تم اختيار عينة طبقية عشوائية تكونت من (327) مديرًا ومديرة، يمثلون نسبة (%50) من المجتمع الأصلي للدراسة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي إذ تم تطوير استبانة تكوّنت من (46) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات (القيادة والإدارة، والتعلم والتعليم، وبيئة الطالب، والمدرسة والمجتمع). بينت النتائج أن دور وحدة جودة التعليم والمساءلة في تطوير الكفايات الإدارية لدى مديري المدارس في محافظة إربد من وجهة نظر المديرين جاء بدرجة مرتفعة في جميع المجالات، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر متغير الجنس، لصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق تُعزى لأثر متغير نوع المدرسة، لصالح المدارس الثانوية. كما تبين عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تُعزى لأثر متغيري المؤهل العلمي. وسنوات الخبرة. The study aimed to identify the role of the quality of education and accountability unit in developing administrative competencies for school principals at Irbid governorate as perceived by school principals. The study population included (654) all basic and secondary school principals at Irbid governorate, and a stratified random sample composed of (327) was chosen. In order to achieve the goals of the study the researchers used the descriptive methodology by developing a questionnaire which included (46) items, distributed into four fields (leadership and administration, teaching and learning, students environment, and school and community). The results showed that the role of education quality and accountability unit came high at all fields. The results revealed that the role of education quality and accountability unit came high at all fields. The results also revealed that there were statistical significant differences due to gender in favor of females, and due to school kind in favor of secondary schools, and there were no statistical significant differences due to educational qualification and years of experiences.
