هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف إلى دور نظام إدارة المعلومات التربوية "Open Emis" في وزارة التربية والتعليم الأردنية في تلبية حاجات الهيئة الإدارية والتعليمية في مدارس محافظة معان، ومدى رضاهم عنه. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم تصميم استبانة كأداة رئيسة لجمع البيانات، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (280) إدارياً ومعلماً في مدارس محافظة معان، وأظهرت النتائج أن نظام إدارة المعلومات التربوية يلبي حاجات الهيئة الإدارية والتعليمية بدرجة مرتفعة، إذ يلبي النظام الحاجات على الترتيب الآتي، (الحاجة الإجتماعية ، الحاجة الأكاديمية، الحاجة الإدارية، الحاجة الإحصائية، الحاجة الإقتصادية، الحاجة التنظيمية)، كما أظهرت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات درجات أفراد عينة الدراسة لدور نظام إدارة المعلومات تعزى لمتغيرات الدراسة (النوع الإجتماعي، المؤهل العلمي، سنوات الخدمة، المسمى الوظيفي)، وأن درجة رضا الهيئة الإدارية والتعليمية عن النظام كانت متوسطة، كما أوصت الدراسة بعقد دورات تدريبية لمستخدمي النظام لمتابعة تطوراته. The study aimed to identify the role of educational information management system "OpenEmis" of the Jordanian Ministry of Education to meet administrative and educational needs of Ma'an schools’ staff, and their satisfaction. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method and a questionnaire as a main tool for data collection. The study sample consisted of (280) members from Ma’an schools. The results revealed that the educational information management system is highly effective to address the administrative and educational needs, in which the social needs are met first, then the academic, and finally the administrative needs. Also, there are no statistically significant differences in the average scores of the study sample because of the study variables such as social type, educational qualification, years of service, and job title. Additionally, the results clear that the level of satisfaction is moderate. Thus, training sessions for the system users to measure its developments, are recommended. (Published abstract)
