هدفت هذه الدراسة الى معرفة فاعلية برنامج تدريبي قائم على الإطار المرجعي الخاص بالاختبار الدولي في تنمية المعرفة البيداغوجية للمحتوى لدى معلمي الرياضيات في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في الأردن. تكونت عينة الدراسة من مجموعتين: تجريبية (15) معلماً ومعلمة تعرضوا للبرنامج التدريبي، وضابطة (15) معلماً ومعلمة ضمن الطريقة الاعتيادية. لتحقيق هدف الدراسة، تم تطوير برنامج تدريبي لمعلمي الرياضيات ممن يدرسون المرحلة الأساسية، وبناء ثلاثة اختبارات تضمنت المعرفة البيداغوجية. وقد وضعت أسئلة فرعية يشكل مجموع الإجابة عنها إجابة سؤال الدراسة، وتم استخدام تحليل التباين المشترك (ANCOVA)، وأظهرت النتائج وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات معلمي المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسط درجات معلمي المجموعة الضابطة في المعرفة البيداغوجية للمحتوى. في ضوء هذه النتائج أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تبني البرنامج التدريبي القائم على الإطار المرجعي الخاص بالاختبار الدولي TIMSS في أثناء تنفيذ منهاج الرياضيات، وتضمين هذا البرنامج في إعداد المعلمين في أثناء الخدمة وقبلها، وتوفير ورشات تدريبية تعالج المستجدات التربوية وما يتطلبه توجهات الدول العالمية في الاختبار الدولي TIMSS. This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a training program based on the international test (TIMSS) in developing the pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of the basic education stage mathematics teachers in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of two groups: an experimental group consisted of 15 teachers who attended the training program based on the international test, and control group consisted of 15 teachers by the normal method. In order to achieve the objective of this study, a training program for mathematics teachers was developed and built test for teachers, in pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Where sub-questions have been developed, the total of which is the answer to the study question, ANCOVA was used, and the results showed statistically significant difference in of pedagogical content knowledge. In light of these findings, the study recommended the adaptation of the training program based on the international test (TIMSS) in mathematics, and to include this program with order training programs for the preparation of pre-service and in-service teachers. Also providing short training workshops which address recent educational trends in the study of mathematics. (Published abstract)
