هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التَّعرفِ إلى العلاقةِ ما بينَ التَّحكم المعرفي بالكفاءةِ الاجتماعيَّة ومستوى كل منهما لدى طلبةِ الصَّفِ الأول الأساسي في المدارسِ الخاصَّة في عمان للعامِ الدراسي (2018-2019) والبالغ عددهم 32436))، وقد بلغت عينةُ الدراسة (800) طالبٍ وطالبةٍ، وقد تمَّ اختيارهم بالطَّريقةِ العنقوديَّةِ العشوائيَّةِ، واعتمدَت الدراسةُ على المنهجِ الوصفي الارتباطي، وتمَّ استخدامُ مقياسِ التَّحكم المعرفي، ومقياسُ الكفاءةِ الاجتماعيَّة؛ وذلك لمناسبتهما لطبيعةِ الدراسةِ، وأظهرَت النَّتائجُ أنَّ مستوى التَّحكم المعرفي جاء بالمستوى المرتفعِ بمتوسطٍ حسابي (2.50 - 3) على الدَّرجةِ الكليَّةِ، كما أنَّ مستوى الكفاءةِ الاجتماعيَّةِ جاء بالمستوى المرتفع بمتوسطٍ حسابي (3.06 - 4) على الدَّرجةِ الكليَّة، كما أظهرت النَّتائج وجودَ علاقةٍ إيجابيَّة ذاتُ دلالةٍ إحصائيَّةٍ عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) ما بينَ التَّحكم المعرفي والكفاءةِ الاجتماعيَّةِ، وأظهرت النَّتائج كذلك أنَّ التَّحكم المعرفي قد فسَّر ما نسبته (%39.2) من التباين في الكفاءة الاجتماعية وهو متنبئ بالكفاءة الاجتماعيَّة، وتوصي الدراسة بإجراءِ دراساتٍ على مراحلَ عمريَّةٍ مُختلفةٍ أخرى. The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between the cognitive control and the social competence and the level of each of one of them among first-grade students in private schools in Amman for the school year (2018-2019) whose number amounted to (32436 (students. The sample of the study was (800) male and female students. They were chosen based on the Random cluster method. And the study relied on the correlational descriptive approach. The cognitive control scale and the social competence measure were used to suit the nature of the study. The results showed that the level of cognitive control was at a high level with an average of (2.50-3) and the social competence level was high with an average of (3.06-4) on the total score, and the results showed a statistically significant Positive relationship at the significance level (0.05) between cognitive control and social competence, The results also showed that cognitive control explained (39.2%) of the variance in social competence.
