يهدف البحث إلى معرفة الكم الهائل من الأطاريح الخاصة في الجغرافية الصناعية في الجامعات العراقية عن طريق جمع البيانات من المكتبات الخاصة في الجغرافية لجميع أقسام الجغرافية، وبعد ذلك يتم تحليلها إحصائيا في جداول التحليل الكمي. لمعرفة أهم المتغيرات الحاصلة في هذه الأطاريح من ناحية الكمية والنوعية، وما هي أهم الوسائل والأساليب المؤثرة والتي أدت إلى تغيير المناهج البحث في هذا الاختصاص (الجغرافية الصناعية)، إذ تمثلت مشكلة البحث في العوائق والموانع التي أدت إلى قلة الأطاريح الخاصة بالجغرافية الصناعية، وكذلك ضعف تطور بعض مناهج البحث الخاصة بالجغرافية الصناعية وقلة مواكبتها للتطور الحاصل، وما هي أهم الأسباب التي أدت إلى ذلك توصل بحثنا إلى أن الجغرافية الصناعية هي ليست حديثة العهد، وإنما بدأت منذ عقود قديمة، وكانت الأطاريح الخاصة بهذا الاختصاص كثيرة على الرغم من تباينها بين جامعة وأخرى ولكن لم تأخذ مداها الواسع في الفترة الأخيرة وهي الفترة المحصورة بين (2003-2021) بعد التطور العلمي الملحوظ الذي طرأ على هذا الاختصاص، وكذلك بعض التطورات في أساليب ومناهج البحث العلمي والتي أصبحت تأتي بنتائج حقيقية في الدراسة الميدانية والعمل التطبيقي، إضافة إلى استخدام التقنيات الحديثة في البحث العلمي ما يؤثر وبشكل إيجابي على طلاب الدراسات وخاصة الأطاريح في زيادة المتخصصين في هذا العلم. The research aims to know the huge number of private theses in industrial geography in Iraqi universities by collecting data from private libraries in geography for all departments of geography, and then it is analyzed statistically in quantitative analysis tables. To find out the most important variables that occurred in these theses in terms of quantity and quality, and what are the most important influential means and methods that led to a change in research methods in this specialty (industrial geography), as the research problem was represented in the obstacles and barriers that led to the lack of theses on industrial geography, as well as the weakness. The development of some research curricula for industrial geography and their lack of keeping up with the development, and what are the most important reasons that led to that? However, it did not take its wide range in the recent period, which is the period confined between (2003-2021) after the remarkable scientific development that occurred in this specialty, as well as some developments in the methods and methods of scientific research, which have come to produce real results in field study and applied work, in addition to the use of techniques modernity in scientific research has a positive effect on students of studies, especially dissertations, in increasing the number of specialists in this science.
