تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى الذكاء الاستراتيجي وإتقان اللغة للطلاب العراقيين. المشاركون هم (310) طالبا جامعيا عراقيا في كليات التربية للعلوم الإنسانية والتربية للبنات. حيث تم خضوع الطلاب للاختبار والاستبيان لقياس ذكائهم الاستراتيجي وكفاءتهم اللغوية. كشفت نتائج الدراسة أن غالبية الطلاب لديهم ذكاء استراتيجي ولديهم مستوى ضعيف في اتقان اللغة. The study aims at finding out Iraqi EFLuniversity students’ level of SI and LP. The participants are (310) Iraqi university students at the Colleges of Education (for Human Sciences and for Women) in Baghdad, Diyala and Karbala. The students have been submitted to the test and questionnaire to measure their SI and LP. The findings of the current study revealed that the majority of students have SI and they have low level of LP. (Published abstract)
