هدفت الدراسة إلى تقصّي أثر توظيف برمجية Microsoft Mathematics في حلّ المسألة الرياضية لدى طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (40) طالبًا من طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي تم اختيارهم بطريقة قصدية من مدرسة خاصة تدرس النظام الأمريكي HSD في عمان، ووزعت الشعب عشوائيًا إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية تكونت من (20) طالبًا، درسوا باستخدام البرمجية، ومجموعة ضابطة تكونت من (20) طالبًا درسوا بالطريقة الاعتيادية، وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم بناء اختبار حل المسألة الرياضية، وتم التحقق من صدقه وثباته بالطرق المناسبة. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) في متوسطات درجات الطلاب في اختبار حل المسألة الرياضية، ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية. This study aimed to investigate the effect of utilizing Microsoft mathematics software on solving mathematical problems among the tenth-grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (40) students from grade (10), selected from private international schools in Amman that follow the American system HSD. The study sample was distributed randomly into two groups: an experimental group of (20) students who studied by using the software, and the control group of (20) students, who studied through using the conventional studying method. To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher buit a test to solve the mathematical problems. The validity and reliability of the instruments were verified. The results showed that there was a significant difference in mathematical problem solving among the tenth-grade students in Jordan, in favor of the experimental group who studied via Microsoft mathematics software.
