تسعى الدراسة إلى التحقق من أهمية وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في إدارة الأزمات. تبنت الدراسة المنهجين الوصفي التحليلي، ومنهج دراسة حالة من خلال دراسة حالة جامعة بغداد وما هو دورها في التخطيط الاستراتيجي الجيد لإدارة الأزمات. توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: 1) إن خطط الجامعة تدرك أهمية وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في إدارة الأزمات. 2) إن الجامعة تقوم بالمراجعة المستمرة والقيام بالتغييرات حسب الضرورة. 3) التأكد من أن الإدارات والفرق تأخذ في الاعتبار أهمية وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في إدارة الأزمات. 4) يتماشى صنع القرار الجيد على المستوى الاستراتيجي والذي يتضمن أهمية وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في إدارة الأزمات للخروج من الأزمة. The study seeks to verify the importance of social media in crisis management. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method and the case study method through a case study of the University of Baghdad and what is its role in good strategic planning for crisis management. The study reached the following results: 1) The university’s plans realize the importance of social media in crisis management. 2) The university is constantly reviewing and making changes as necessary. 3) Ensuring that departments and teams take into account the importance of social media in crisis management. 4) Good decision-making is consistent at the strategic level, which includes the importance of social media in crisis management to get out of the crisis.
