يهدف البحث التعرف على الحيز الشخصي لدى طلبة الجامعة. قامت الباحثة ببناء مقياس الحيز الشخصي بالاعتماد على نظرية (كيرت ليفين 1890-1947). تم التحقق من صدق وثبات المقياس بعرضه على مجموعة من المحكمين المختصين بمجال علم النفس التربوي والقياس والتقويم وتم استخراج القوة التميزية للفقرات، إذ بلغت عينة البحث (400) طالب وطالبة من جامعة ديالى. أظهرت نتائج البحث أنه يوجد حيز شخصي عند طلبة الجامعة وعدم وجود فروق في الجنس والتخصص للمتغير عند طلبة الجامعة. The research aims to identify: 1) Personal space among university students. 2) Differences of personal space according to variable of (gender and specialization). In order to achieve the aims of the research, the researcher built a scale of personal space and scale of sensory arousal, where scale of personal space consisted of (32) items, the researcher applied them on the sample of statistical analysis amounting (400 male and female) students. After it was verified through the psychometric aspects of the scale and statistical analysis, the researcher applied the scale to the sample of the basic study of (400 male and female) students and has reached the following results: 1) There is a personal space among university students. 2) There is no statistically significant difference on the scale of personal space according to variables of gender (male, female), while in the specialization (scientific, humanitarian) there is a difference of statistical significance and in favor of human specialization.
