هدف البحث إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين اضطرابات النطق والكلام لدى التلاميذ ضعاف السمع بالمرحلة الابتدائية واتجاهاتهم نحو القراءة في محافظة الطائف، اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لأنه يناسب موضوع الدراسة، تكونت عينة البحث الأساسية من (30) تلميذا من التلاميذ ضعاف السمع والذين تتراوح أعمارهم (8-13) عاما، وهم بالصفوف من الأول حتى السادس الابتدائي، تم تطبيق مقياس اضطرابات النطق والكلام، ومقياس الاتجاه نحو القراءة (من إعداد الباحث)، ولمعالجة النتائج تم استخدام معامل ارتباط بيرسون، المتوسط الحسابي، والانحراف المعياري، وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى: وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائياً بين اضطرابات النطق والكلام والاتجاه نحو القراءة لدى عينة البحث، كما توصل إلى أن مستويات الاستجابة على مفردات مقياس اضطرابات النطق والكلام كانت في المستوى المرتفع، في حين كانت مستويات الاستجابة على مفردات مقياس اتجاه التلاميذ نحو القراءة في المستوى المتوسط. The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between speech and speech disorders among hearing impaired pupils in the primary stage and their attitudes towards reading in Taif Governorate. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach because it fits the subject of the study. The basic research sample consisted of (30) pupils with hearing impairment and those between the ages of (8-13) years old, and they are in grades 1 to 6 of primary school, the Speech and Speech Disorders Scale, and the Trend toward Reading Scale (prepared by the researcher) were applied. To treat the results, Pearson correlation coefficient, mean, and standard deviation were used. The results of the research reached: The presence of a statistically significant negative correlation between speech and speech disorders and the trend towards reading in the research sample, and it was found that the response levels on the vocabulary of the speech and speech disorders were at the high level, while the response levels on the vocabulary of the scale of students ’direction towards reading were at the intermediate level.
