The aim of the research is to reveal the correlative relationship between mindfulness and academic procrastination, in addition to revealing the differences between students of the general and technical education students from students of the College of Education in both mindfulness and academic procrastination, and to reveal the differences between males and females in both mindfulness and academic procrastination. The study sample consisted of (157) male and female students from the college of education – helwan university, and a questionnaire of mindfulness was used by Baer et al. (2006)( researcher arabization), and the academic procrastination scale was prepared by the researcher, and the results of the study reached a statistically negative significant correlation relationship between mindfulness and academic procrastination, there are statistically significant differences between the general and technical education students in mindfulness as a total , just as there are no statistically significant differences between them in the dimensions of Acting with awarenrss, nonjudging of experience, and nonreactivity to inner experiences, and there are also statistically significant differences between the general and technical education students on the scale of academic procrastination in the overall degree and in all dimensions, and there are no differences Between males and females on the scale of mindfulness, while there are statistically significant differences between males and females on the scale of academic procrastination due to gender.
