تؤدي إدارة مدارس المختبر دورا مهما في مدى تلبية المدرسة لوظائفها وأودارها المنوطة بها، والوصول بها إلى مستوى التنافسية والريادية في الإصلاح التعليمي؛ حيث تقوم إدارة مدارس المختبر بالعديد من الوظائف التي تختلف عن مثيلاتها في المدارس التقليدية، مثل وظائف البحث والتجريب، والتعليم والتعلم القائم على الجانب التطبيقي، وإعداد وتدريب المعلمين قبل وأثناء الخدمة، ويعد قيام إدارة مدارس المختبر بوظيفة البحث والتجريب من أهم هذه الوظائف؛ حيث يتم اختبار النظريات والأفكار الجديدة قبل تعميمها، بحيث يمكن تجنب العديد من المشكلات التي من الممكن أن تحدث في حالة التعميم قبل الاختبار، وبذلك يكون لإدارة مدارس المختبر دور قيادي وريادي في عملية الإصلاح التعليمي، وبناء عليه هدفت الدراسة إلى الاستفادة من مدارس المختبر وإدارتها في الإصلاح التعليمي بمدارس التعليم العام بمصر. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي كمنهج ملائم لطبيعة الدراسة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، ومن أهمها: أن تكون إدارة مدارس المختبرتابعة للجامعة، وضرورة توفر مجموعة من المقومات اللازمة لمدير مدرسة المختبر لمساعدة المدرسة على القيام بوظائفها وأدوارها المنوطة بها، وأن وجود مدارس المختبر يعد وسيلة مهمة لعمليات الإصلاح التعليمي. وأخيرا تم وضع مجموعة من الإجراءات المقترحة التي يمكن أن تسهم في مبادرات الإصلاح التعليمي في ضوء الاستفادة من إدارة مدارس المختبر. The management of the laboratory schools plays an important role in the extent to which the school fulfills its functions and roles assigned to it and brings it to the level of competitiveness and leadership in educational reform. Where the management of the laboratory schools performs many functions that differ from their counterparts in traditional schools, such as the functions of research and experimentation, teaching and learning based on the applied side, preparing and training teachers before and during service, and the function of research and experimentation is the most important of these functions; where new theories and ideas are tested before they are circulated, so that many problems that may occur in the case of generalization can be avoided before testing, and thus the management of the laboratory schools has a leading and pioneering role in the educational reform process. Accordingly, the study aimed to benefit from laboratory schools and their management in the educational reform in general education schools in Egypt. The study used the analytical descriptive approach as an approach appropriate to the nature of study, and the study reached a set of proposed procedures that could contribute to the educational reform process. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: that the laboratory school management should be affiliated with the university, and the necessity of providing a set of necessary elements for the laboratory school manager to help the school carry out its functions and roles assigned to it, and that the presence of laboratory schools is an important means for educational reform processes. Finally, a set of proposed procedures that could contribute to educational reform initiatives were put in place in light of benefiting from the management of laboratory schools. (Published abstract)
